Shipping Policy

All products, except for gift certificates, are shipped overnight to US destinations using FedEx or UPS. Your package will not require a signature, however; someone should be present for delivery as seafood left unattended can spoil quickly. Orders ship Monday through Friday. Saturday delivery is available in most locations. (If you are unsure if Saturday delivery is available, please e-mail us the delivery address and we will check for you.) Deliveries are not made on Sundays or Mondays. Orders received before 12pm noon (EST) can be shipped for next day delivery. Please choose your desired delivery date at checkout.

Once your order is accepted you will receive an e-mail confirmation. Please review this carefully and contact us immediately if you notice an error. This confirmation contains your order number and a link to view and print your receipt. The day your order is shipped, you will receive a second e-mail notification listing your tracking number and overnight carrier. Orders can be tracked at Fedex.com or UPS.com.

Shipping Rates

All orders are shipped using overnight express service through UPS or FedEx. Shipping rates include the packaging of your seafood in an insulated container with dry ice to maintain the ideal temperature. Lobster orders come with seaweed, bibs, napkins, placemats, and a plastic bag to dispose of the shells.

Shipping rates are calculated by the net weight of the seafood you order, which is summarized below and at checkout.

Please call us first for orders over 40 pounds or if you wish to ship your order to Hawaii or Alaska. Also, please add $15 for Saturday deliveries (Not available in all locations. If you are unsure if Saturday delivery is available, please e-mail us the delivery address and we will check for you.)

The Packaging of Your Order

Your order is carefully packaged in a container with dry ice to retain the proper temperature and ensure your seafood is received fresh. When it arrives refrigerate immediately.

If ordering lobsters: Lobsters are shipped with seaweed, bibs, wet naps, and placemats for no extra charge.  We recommend you cook your lobsters the day they arrive, even if you are not eating them that day. If you prefer to order cooked lobsters, we offer those as well

PLEASE NOTE: When your lobsters are packaged they are very lively. Do not be alarmed if they are not moving when they arrive. The change in environment and overnight flight can make them sluggish. 

Return Policy

On very rare occasions, packages are damaged during shipping. If this happens check the seafood inside. If you believe the seafood has spoiled, you must contact us immediately at (877) 682-5954 or customerservice@freshestcatch.com.

We will make arrangements to send you another shipment or refund your money. Please be advised: Your claim will not be reviewed and considered if not made on the delivery date. You should also retain the damaged shipment as New England Seafood, LLC and the overnight carrier have a right to inspect it prior to considering a claim.
